Marlon Brevé Reyes

Marlon Brevé-Reyes has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU), and he also has a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University (NCSU).

In the U.S., Dr. Brevé has worked as Research Engineer at the University of Georgia (UGA) and as Research Assistant at North Carolina State University.

After obtaining his Ph.D. in 1994, Dr. Brevé was hired by EARTH University in Costa Rica, as Pofessor of Agricultural Engineering.  At EARTH University, he also held the positions of Director of Research, Director of Admissions and International Programs and Dean of Academic Affairs.

In 2007, Dr. Brevé was appointed Minister of Education of Honduras, a position that he held for 2.5 years.

In 2010, Dr. Brevé joined Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) in Honduras, as Dean of Graduate Studies and was later promoted to Academic Vice President. In 2016, he was appointed Academic President, a position that he still holds. Since 2020, Dr. Brevé holds de presidency of the National Association of Private Universities of Honduras (ANUPRIH).
