Kathryn Zecca

Kathryn Zecca has 25 years of litigation experience at top law firms in both Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA.

Kathryn has represented Fortune 500 companies, major accounting firms, financial institutions, hedge funds and private equity funds, and trade associations. She has practiced in federal and state courts, and represented clients before numerous federal and state agencies, including the United States Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the New York Attorney General. She has also advised clients on strategic transactions, internal compliance issues and conducted internal investigations.

Kathryn has been a frequent panelist at conferences and interviewee on both legal professional development and commercial litigation. Kathryn has been served as a guest lecturer at Georgetown University Law School and was the inaugural keynote speaker at the annual Women’s Business Forum conference at the University of Virginia.

Kathryn is active in the DC-area philanthropic community. She serves as Board President and Legal Counsel to Many Hands, a collective giving organization that supports nonprofits serving women, children, and families in socioeconomic need. She volunteers as a grant application reviewer for the Catalogue for Philanthropy, the Greater Washington area’s locally focused guide for giving and volunteering. Kathryn also volunteers with her family at multiple DC-area nonprofits.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. After completing law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harold H. Greene of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
